My Approach

I believe that each of us has the power to cultivate a meaningful life and I see my role as supporting and encouraging self-exploration to discover what that looks like for you. I often integrate many different modalities but work primarily through a psychodynamic lens with a focus on attachment, relationships, and emotional awareness. Together, we’ll gain a better understanding of who you are by exploring your past experiences, values, beliefs about yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. Developing this insight will help uncover patterns and obstacles that are preventing you from growth. Once you can understand your emotions, reactions, and behaviors, you can then take intentional steps to making lasting changes.

Who I work with:

I may be a good fit for you if:

  • you are feeling overwhelmed by big emotions

  • you want to have healthier relationships and build community

  • you are pregnant or struggling during postpartum

  • you are struggling to connect with others in meaningful ways

  • you have been through a recent loss or big life transition

  • you feel bad about yourself or feel disconnected from yourself

My intervention style:

My approach is rooted in the following:

  • Attachment theory

  • Insight-oriented approach

  • Strengths-based

  • Emotionally-focused therapy

  • Relational therapy

  • Humanistic/Person-centered

What Can You Expect?

Individual Therapy

People find their way to therapy for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it's a major life transition, grief or loss, relationship issues, or recognizing that the ways they've managed stress, anxiety, or depression no longer serve them or no longer work. We'll work together to get to the core of what you'd like to change and collaborate on ways to tackle those changes.

Reflective Supervision

My approach to supervision follows a reflective model, which emphasizes a collaborative approach to understanding a clinician's work and experience, and engages in reflective practices to support self-awareness. When you get the support you deserve, your clients do as well.
