Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read a little more about me and my journey as a therapist.

I’m a licensed clinical social worker, currently licensed in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I’m originally from Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in Psychology. From there, I lived in Asheville, NC and then Seattle, WA before moving to New York City to earn my Masters in Social Work at New York University.

After working in the foster care system in New York for a few years, I moved back home to Michigan and worked in community mental health in Detroit and the surrounding areas. I was lucky enough to learn from the top specialists in the field of Infant Mental Health and found my passion for perinatal mental health. I’ve been working to support people through pregnancy, postpartum and the transition into parenthood for the last 10 years.

I moved to Rhode Island 5 years ago and have been working as an outpatient mental health therapist since then. While I still specialize in perinatal mental health, I work with adults with a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship issues, and emotion regulation.

I approach my work through a relational and attachment-based lens, incorporating emotionally-focused therapy, insight development, and parts work. I believe in the healing power of relationships and community and I hope to provide you with a safe place to take respite, explore, and grow into your best self.
